This Lenovo Validated Design (LVD) provides a blueprint for enhancing public sector safety and security through AI-powered video monitoring and real-time threat detection. Developed in collaboration with Kognition and powered by Lenovo ThinkEdge servers, the solution transforms passive surveillance systems into intelligent platforms capable of proactive incident detection, behavioral analysis, and automated alerts.
Designed for municipalities, schools, public venues, and enterprise offices, the architecture supports rapid AI inferencing at the edge with scalable options for small to large deployments. It enables seamless integration with existing IP camera infrastructure and centralized management through Lenovo XClarity One. This LVD supports compliance with data privacy and governance requirements while enabling faster response times and improved situational awareness. By reducing manual monitoring workloads and enhancing threat detection capabilities, the solution empowers public agencies to respond to safety challenges with greater accuracy and agility.
