As Generative AI and RAG workloads transition from pilot projects to mission-critical production systems, resilience becomes a foundational requirement.
This Lenovo Validated Design (LVD) presents a production-grade, Kubernetes-native data protection architecture that integrates Veeam Kasten into the Lenovo Hybrid AI 285 platform. The solution embeds policy-driven backup, immutable recovery, cross-cluster mobility, and tiered storage protection directly into the Lenovo AI Factory architecture. By combining high-performance GPU compute with enterprise storage tiers and application-centric Kubernetes protection, this design enables rapid recovery, ransomware resilience, compliance readiness, and operational continuity for AI models, vector databases, and inference pipelines.
The result is an enterprise-ready AI platform where resilience is engineered as a core architectural layer.
